જિંદગીનો ભાર ઢસડી ઢસડીને
મનથી બેવડ વળી ચુકેલા,
તોય ખુશીથી અમને રાખતા.
કણીઓ પડેલી હથેળીએ
ને બરછટ બનેલા હાથ,
તોય કોળિયો અમને ભરાવતા.
ઘા ભલે હોય હજાર
તોય વ્હાલ અમને કરતા.
એક-એક ચિંતાની કરચલીઓ
ચહેરા પરથી છુપાવીને,
હાસ્ય અમને અર્પતા.
મજલોનુ અંતર કાપી કાપીને
અમને મંઝિલે પહોંચાડતા.
રાખીએ છીએ અમે એમને હ્ર્દયમાં
ને ઘરમાં રાખીશું ભવિષ્યમાં,
નહિ પડે જરુર લાકડીની
સહારો અમે ખુદ બનશું એમના!!!
